Episode #54 – Today we are still in Toronto, Canada learning how to make an ancient Italian classic cookie that every child LOVES called #Pizzelli or #Pizzelle with #NonnaPaolone’s baby sister Zia Nicky. Not only are these waffle cookies loved by children, but also adults especially as a dessert and or with coffee. They are light, sweet and easy to make. Pizzelle can be hard, crisp, soft and or chewy. Zia Nicky shows us how to make it all those ways. Watch to get the step by step instructions on how you can make them for your family and friends. INGREDIENTS:
– 6 Eggs
– 1 tsp of Salt
– 1 Cup of Sugar (Zia Nick only used ½ Cup of Sugar. She does not like sugar.)
– 1 Cup of Vegetable or Corn Oil
– 2 tsp of Baking Powder
– 1 grated Lemon Zest (Zia Nicky uses 1/2 a lemon zest)
– 1 Tbsp of Vanilla
– 1 ½ Cup of Flour Powdered/Icing Sugar to top
