We have the traditional American Thanksgiving in November and we also celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in October because Nonna’s 3 children were born in Toronto, Canada. Nonna’s grandkids LOVE her turkey stuffing. It’s so good that she has to make extra. Watch to get the step by step instructions to see her Italian version of Turkey Stuffing so you can share this dish with your family and friends. One important ingredient that Nonna always adds to her recipe is cooking with her heart. So, be sure when you make this you do it with all your heart. Enjoy!



INGREDIENTS:

– 12 lbs turkey

– 1 Box (12oz or 340g) of Your favorite Stuffing

– 2 Cups of Chopped Celery

– 2 Cups of Chopped Onion

– 1 Cup of Chopped Carrot

– 4 Italian Sausage links

– 3 Chopped Green Onions

– ½ cup of Mozzarella cheese

– 2 Tablespoon of Parmesan cheese

– Olive Oil

– 1 ½ stick of Unsalted Butter

– Salt

– Pepper

– Garlic Salt (if you don’t have garlic salt you can use Garlic Powder and Salt)

– Parsley

– 4 chopped Basil Leaves

– 1 chopped garlic clove

– 6 Cups of Chicken broth

– 2 pieces of white bread

– Needle and Thread to sew the turkey

– Thin rope to tie Turkey
